Outline - Chorus Music
Withing the coming months of spring 2013, we will be seeing of a debut album from the label owner Outline, releasing the long awaited "Chorus Music" LP. The album focuses on Drum & Bass / Jungle affairs of Outline and was remaining in building stage for 3 years. The album "C.M." features the most of the Jungle styles including Jump-up, Hardstep, the more musical Atmospheric, Soulful and Experimental sides plus it's infusions. The music on the LP would do well in much more then just a club. It is as good in daylight consciousness as it is inside the jam. The concept itself and what 'Chorus Music' means is a repetitious, texture-like element weather a bassline or a pad, which repeats throughout the track, always surfacing on top, being the strongest element. Thus being called Chorus element (chorus meaning as in a chorus of a song), as if the track was made of an infinite chorus.

1 Embedded
Comprises of summer-like warm and spiritual atmospheres, simplistic but effective bassline with deep subs, backed with flowing breaks. Made in 2009.
2 Future
There is a very serious and deep way of thought in this track. The intro takes around 3 minutes filled with lush strings and pads backed with a melodic bassline. At the drop it gets proper heavy and transforms into original Hardstep sound. On the reinforcing front we have Sci-Fi sound effects completing the picture along side a final gong near an end of a track .The track was started in 2009 and finished 1 - 1.5 years later.
3 Birthday Bass
An infusion of Jump-up with Ambient. The track starts as if it was an Ambient track, guiding and preparing the listener for the drop with warm red colour summer time pads. The bassline is descending downwards gradually in quartertones, that is by interval shorter then a distance between any two subsequent keys on a piano, and is therefor microtonal. Later in a track, another, analogue style bassline introduces itself, to take the track further. The track was started in 2010 and finished around a year later.
4 Change
As the name implies, this track is a call for a change. But before we can change, we need to gradually go through every part of the puzzle that needs a change. And the track does just that. It starts with Hardstep breaks alongside high frequency alarming ringing. Soon flute-like pads appear and the mood of a track sets. The bassline expands the picture, reinforcing the pads and subsequently leading the track forward. In a later part of a track we see progression with another analogue synth style pad leading into resolution of a track made with the same flute-like pad sound that appears through out the track. 2009-2010
5 S+K -
This is blue colour Atmospheric-Jumpup track. Otherwordly pad sound with chimes sets the track before a grey bassline takes over setting everyone is party mode. The beat drops and you feel like stepping along. The track was made in 2009 with Samantha Millar helping out on the production side.
6 IDM 2
A second version of 2010 Hardstep affair. Dissatisfaction with the original version due to lack of originality (nevertheless being upfront dancefloor), the decision has been made to remix it into a more modern sounding track. We kick it off with a wide open, light-blue pad sound, soon enough being reinforced with upper register strings. Just before the drop we get a deep end subs, deliberately disturbing the peace set by the ambiance. 2010, 161 BPM.
7 Bass Elemental
Dubstep travel route. The route leads us through mountains of basslines, to witness and possibly to take pictures along the journey. The basslines in this track lead one into another descending from a red colour Ambient pads. In the second half we get a rearrangement of the original idea further developing the big picture into a bass elemental. The colours of basslines are from brown, to dark green, to dark yellow. 2010-2011
8 Return 2
This is a remix on a 2008 track, featuring an original flowing atmosphere and further expanding it with more Ambient. In addition, an analogue bassline replaces the original one, adding a new twist to the track. Along the path, we experience bassline wonders leading into a turnover in the later half. This piece shows the musical side of Jungle / Drum&Bass. 2010-2011
9 Sunrise
Romanticstep. The track is filled with the most musicality in the album. In the first half of the track we see 3 part polyphony which is synonymous only with Classical masters. The Ambient orchestra is made up of many instruments. The bassline is utterly melodic, and the piece has a definite Jazzy influence. 2009
10 Empire
This is an experimental take, here we go snareless. And why a not, if each of the instruments were custom made in the track. The gamma of the piece is of yellow colour, with shades of darkness to complete the picture,. The brown bassline guides the listener through this journey along the pyramids. 2010-11
11 Incoming 2
Stepper for the masses, features spring time feel and vibe, a piano, a violin and a bassline of an unknown ethnic origin. The track is a second version of a 2009 piece, offering a more developed bassline motive. 2009-2012
12 Love Affair 2
A remix of a 2008 Jump-up roller. This take brings you on an uplifting Ambient-Jump-up journey. The red and yellow pads are sure to make you travel, as melodic and sound bassline will make you jump while at it. The stepper takes on a sharp turn in the later half, employing the melody of an original bassline, but using a different sound, supported by harder breaks. Step by step 2009-2012
13 Woony
Woony refers to woon-woon sounding bassline in this track. The take is an ambient - hardstepper, with light blue Ambient pad being influenced by Afx. The track accents on bass layering for a fuller sense of satisfaction. 2009
